What Makes a Spec Request Answerable
List every substrate on the asset separately — blasted steel, galvanized, painted, concrete, wood, membrane. Describe the exposure in terms of what actually contacts the surface: weather, condensation, de-icing brine, caustic wash-down, contained chemistry, abrading material. Then tell us how many years the asset is expected to run and whether anyone looks at it.
You will get back a written system: prep standard and profile, chloride limit, primer product and where it applies, barrier product and DFT with the reasoning attached, topcoat or an explicit statement that none is needed, stripe-coat locations, inspection hold points, and a repair procedure.
Contractors and distributors: include your region and volume for the wholesale schedule. Engineers: spec drafting is free and we do not require that you buy from us to get it.
